Intern Positions

IGI Global is seeking motivated and energetic individuals to work as part-time (flexible hours, no more than 20 hours per week) interns for multiple departments within our company.

Qualified candidates should have high attention to detail, be able to meet established deadlines, and work well independently. All interns will need to possess excellent written and verbal skills.

We welcome experience in the following areas: copy editing and proofreading, online research, data mining, human resource management, public relations, marketing, graphic design, programming, accounting and finance, and project management.

Education Required: Earned (or in the process) bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Accounting, Business Administration, Communications and Journalism, Computer Science, English, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related areas is required.

Marketing Assistant

IGI Global, is seeking a motivated and energetic individual with a desire to grow professionally, develop strong communication skills, and work with leading researchers across the world. This entry-level full-time (40 hours per week) position within the Marketing Department at the company’s Hershey office serves as a foundation for developing strong communication, business, editorial, computer, technical, and project management skills while working in a friendly team environment. This position offers tremendous potential for growth and upward mobility within the company. The Marketing Assistant provides support in a variety of promotional and administrative tasks including, but not limited to collaborating with authors and editors on building and implementing campaign strategies, market research and analysis, ongoing customer communication, creative content development, and file organization and management.

Qualified candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication, as well as have a high attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, meet established deadlines, and work well independently. Candidates should have experience with Microsoft Office. Experience utilizing the Adobe Creative Cloud and an understanding of basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript, as well as video and animation editing tools is a plus, but not required.

Required education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, business, or related areas.

Administrative Assistant

This entry-level full-time (40 hours per week) position working with company leadership at the company’s Hershey office serves as a foundation for developing strong communication, business, editorial, computer, technical, and project management skills while working in a friendly team environment. This position offers tremendous potential for growth and upward mobility within the company. The Administrative Assistant who will perform a wide range of activities and will be responsible for daily administrative tasks including, but not limited to: supporting special projects, composing written communications, and assisting with daily tasks in support of office organization.

Qualified candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication, as well as have a high attention to detail with the ability to multi-task, meet established deadlines, and work well independently. Experience with Microsoft Office. Publishing, copy editing, and online research experience is a plus, but not required.

Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, public relations, business, or related areas.
